Technological innovations in agriculture allow us to be more precise in our operations and to optimize the time and use of our means of production. We always want to be one step ahead in implementing better solutions that increase the profitability of our agricultural business, improve people’s working comfort and reduce the external effects of our activities on the local environment.

Sustainable Fertilization and Cultivation Plan

Our aim is to achieve the best possible efficiency and environmental friendliness in fertilization. We use modern digital technology to help us to be more precise and better able to control the application of fertilizer in the field. This starts with a balanced plan that takes into account the use of both natural and mineral fertilizers and responds appropriately to the individual needs of the plants. To this end, we create a nutrient balance for our fields based on regular soil tests and the uptake dynamics of individual micro- and macro-nutrients. This is the starting point for the development of digital application maps, which take into account site-specific, differentiated fertilizer dozes. These are applied by means of an automatic, GPS-equipped spreader. In order to maintain soil fertility at a high level, whenever possible, we apply natural fertilizers, green manures in the form of stubble intercrops and leave cereal and rape straw in the field.

Precision Plant Protection

We are committed to ensuring that our farming activities have the least possible impact on the local ecosystem and the environment in which we operate. We also want to guarantee the full safety and high quality of the food we produce and to ensure the efficiency of our plant protection measures. To this end, we focus on early detection of hazards in the field and on a quick and appropriate response. When planning plant protection treatments, we use decision support systems in the form of disease models that analyze meteorological conditions to determine the risk and timing of disease infections. We use GPS technology and modern methods of applying plant protection agents for spraying. Our sprayers are equipped with a section control system, preventing overlaps on headlands and wedges.

 

A sustainable plant protection plan on our farm is all about prevention, starting from appropriate agrotechnology, to the creation of phytosanitary zones and selection of varieties, to obtaining seed material from reliable and certified suppliers.

Modern Storage

Good potato quality during long-term storage is our priority, which is why we focus on professional storage management and modern equipment. Our knowledge about and experience in storage have been supported for years by computerized ventilation systems, which create the right climate in the storehouse for the potato’s changing needs over time. Sensors installed for this purpose constantly monitor the temperature, humidity level and carbon dioxide concentration in the storage room. Any deviation from the set parameters is immediately and automatically corrected. This system guarantees a rapid response to emerging threats and ensures even climatic conditions throughout the storehouse. This solution minimizes product loss and ensures that potato quality remains consistent throughout the entire storage period.
