It is driven by a concern for food safety, a pollution-free environment, good partnership and neighborliness, and a friendly workplace. Certification is not only a confirmation of our credibility as a responsible crop producer, but above all a motivation for continuous development.
Sustainable Pilot Farm
To paraphrase Albert Schweitzer, we believe that knowledge is something that multiplies if shared. That is why we have been organizing Open Days at our farm for many years. During the event, we can talk with other farmers about the effects of our work and our experience in using good agricultural practices and precision farming solutions. We treat it as our mission to contribute to changes in the Polish countryside, and the membership in the Association of Sustainable Agriculture in Poland “ASAP” is another step towards its implementation. This initiative enables us to engage actively in promotional and educational activities, but it is also an opportunity for further development of our farm and improvement of sustainable production standards.
McDonald’s Flagship Farm
We are the first and so far the only Polish potato producer to be awarded the title of McDonald’s Flagship Farm. It is an expression of recognition for our work and the direction in which the farm is developing. This brings us to the international group of sustainable food producers, who share a concern for the Planet, the future of agriculture and the global community. By awarding the title, McDonald’s is honoring its suppliers who support the local economy, care for the environment and are responsible business partners and neighbors.
GLOBAL G.A.P. Approved Quality
In 2004, our farm entered the Global G.A.P. standard certification and was the first Polish potato producer to take this step. Initially, the certification concerned only potato production, but with time it covered our other crops. The main benefit of its introduction was the systematization of activities related to the production of safe food. Today, thanks to the adopted procedures, we can prevent the emergence of any threats to the safety of our agricultural products. In this way, we can guarantee their high quality, thus building trust amongst both customers and contractors. The certificate also confirms that our practices and procedures comply with EU and national legislation.
